Am I still on anyone's friend's page?

Dear Bic,
I recently purchased some of your "round stic" pens because of their affordability and because I recognized the brand name. Upon opening up the package and bringing my pens to school and trying to write with them, I realized they don't work very well. I'm writing this letter with your pens and have only made it this far before I've used all 10 pens. I did get a kick out of the tagline, "Writes first time, every time." How appropriate. Maybe you should focus your efforts on getting the pens to write the second, third, and fourth times, too. Simply put, THOSE pens suck. You may notice how I am finishing this letter with another company's pen. Please invest more money in your research and development department.
Thank you, Adam Hoffman

3:08 pm - Day 2
|
Painting last night consisted of my 1" brush to get major shapes, lighting, and proportions. Today I got in with my 3/8" brush today to get in some more details. It's looking pretty good so far. Tomorrow I continue with my 3/8" until I get the proportions perfect, then I can get in with my smaller brushes for finer details.
Pros: The colors look good, the proportions are fairly accurate, the hair is looking nice, the shadows and highlights are placed nicely, and it has a good mood.
Cons: The chin is too long, the eyes are a little large and need to be farther apart, the ear needs to be lowered slightly, and it needs a better transition from the neck to the face.

I cleared out my friends page. I'd rather hear about how people are doing in person. Also, don't expect me to be updating any time soon. I've been bored with the internet lately.

Almost bought an RX-7 today.
That's right, I almost bought everyone's dream car today. I was really close... it would have just taken finding a buyer for my car and talking to my bank.
They're listing it at $14,900. I got them down to $14,000. The car has 60,000 miles on it, perfect condition except for the door handle wasn't re-painted well and the leather interior has some scuffs. Clear title, checked by myself. Purchased in and stayed in Iowa. One owner. It's a really great car, it could easily sell for $18,000.
I'm not getting it because, though I could afford it, I would really be stretching it. My monthly payment would go significantly skyward... though my insurance would stay the about the same (which was really surprising). It's just not an investment I should be making while going through school.
BUT, it's still for sale! For those of you that want a nice car, go check it out at Platinum Motors on E 14th! They won't let you test drive it unless you're serious about buying it, though.

I was on the radio today (KGGO) because I heard the new Van Halen song and I thought it sucked, so I called up and told them I was disappointed.
Soooo disappointed :(
